Yipee! Yipee ! my cake came all the way from Ulla in Sweden with a traditional Swedish recipe named Semlor or best described as a cream bun with almond paste according to the recipe. Mmmm...sure sounds yummy. Ulla also included its history, isn't it just great that one gets to learn something new thru exchanges?Thank you Ulla for the wonderful gifts..there's also an extra in the form of a biscornu and a lovely snowy postcard.

The one from Ulla is so sweet, same with the ones you made for Rose. Toothache, huh ;-) Jess.
