The Claris Music Extravaganza 2008

This is one thing that keeps me preoccupied for weeks with their additional class practices, rehearsals and today its done!

Posted some pictures from the concert, pardon me for some blurry pictures whichI like to keep them anyway, there is no retake. A total of 51 pieces was featured by students as young as four or five year olds to those in their early twenties and a couple of teachers who also took part. The lil'performers are the ones who stole most of the attention. Anyway, the CD will be provided to all participants in a week or two.
In vests and jeans with cowboy hats are junior kids performing a cowboy song
Advance students on the electone and violinGhouls in school uniforms? students of Zombies, performing MJ's Thriller. If there was an award for Best Make-up, this group would surely deserved it.Junior music kids doing a dance number from the song, Can't take my eyes off you Marry Me, a Chinese song, a performance by Junior music course all dressed like little brides and grooms.Taking a bow, looking at each other waiting for the first move..They are so adorable!A performance on the electric guitar, piano, electone and drum by the advance students

Jungle Book is the name of the song and we get to see little kids in animal costume, they won the the best costumeChibi Maruko Chan, a song from the Japanese anime series with the students dress to look like Maruko Chan complete with school bag
Fifteen days, the song from Diane's group
Got a almost closeup of her on the piano
Loved the violinist, I think both are great performers here . No doubt the won the best performance award Another mixed instruments performance
A song for Christmas, My Grown Up Christmas List
Finale song performance by all, Its a Small World in Cantonese, Mandarin and Thai

Now that this is done with, I am looking forward to some normal hours from now on and me time
