Whimsy Jar Exchange and Zigouigoui

I signed up for a Whimsy Jar Exchange at NNC organized by Tini. The jar had since reached my partner.
Loved the simplicity idea of the exchange. Its my first exchange of its kind an my jar went to Nik I thought my jar looked a lil' naked and so I decided to dressed it up... in pink,of course. The rules called for a 250gm jar, I wasn't sure of the size, I found that the jar size could varied tremendously, so I went and bought one that I feels comfortable with.

Pink being her favourite color, I made sure that my jar contained things of that color. Initially, I wanted everything to be in pinks, but decided against it, can't imagined everything in pinks..not that I dislike the color but a jar to hold everything in the shade of pinks I think is less interesting.

These are the things that went into the jar. Hoped you liked everything I've put in for you,Nik.

Most of these came from my stash, can't even recalled why I bought some of the things in the first place.

There was a surprise mail from Tini, who was so sweet to sent me this this little treasure, an adorable teddy and beads. Thank you so much, Tini

In between working on my Christmas MA and Christmas ornie, I made a Zigouigoui, the perle is for size comparision of my zigouigoui. Its my first, I was curious with its finishing which leads me to try it out.

You can take a look into the tutorial here zigouigoui.

Thank you for coming by and have a good week ahead .

hi Lillie, you remind me that I have quite a number of stash / small items that I bought whenever I saw. the "potluck" jar is so special..and the zhiguoiguoi is cute.
We are inspiring each other or rather enable....the yarn from Japanese is relatively cheaper, especially with high exchange rate against USD :-)
