Queen for the day

Mom celebrated her 75th years with about 20 guests comprising of close friends and relatives last Thursday, held at a Chinese Restaurant. Here's a little peek on the happenings

The flowers for mom
The Cake - Chocolate Blueberry Cake
Left -The Birthday girl cutting the cake, aided by her sis and the grand kids looking on
Right - The sisters - doing the feeding
The long distance friends who came all the way from up North

< -- A cheeky bro and Ah Soh(SIL). ---- >The friends, another one for the album
Finger pointing? someone wants mom to 'pop' the bottle...and she could not do it...and everyone refused to let it be..

A tribute to MomHappy ! Happy ! Happy Birthday Mom!
One of the reason why I was busy...the long distance friends came to stay for almost week.
Penang Lam Mee
is the only kind available from Penang and tastes very different from the KL Lam Mee. Different because of the type of noodles used and because one is of clear soup while the later is of a sticky gravy with eggs and sometimes added vinegar. This has always been my home's version.

A last photo together

Its been 8 long years for all these gals, some ten, if they took 2 years of Music kids programme. The class started off with 10 kids, 9 gals and 1 boy. Today only 8 remains, 2 gals are missing when I took this photo last week.

Can you imagined when they were all just 5 0r 6 years old then with their teacher trying to hold all their attention together ? and look at them now, all thirteen years old. This is the graduating class of Yamaha AXC04G of 2008. All these girls will be sitting for their exams tomorrow. Next, will be the Grade 5, a diploma equivalent certificate which is the qualifying cert for entrance to study music, should they choose to do music later on or a teaching profession.

Good Luck Girls!
