OMG! OMG! If only you could see me smiling from ear to ear since yesterday when I got home from work and found a package on my coffee table. My gorgeous baby is home. Take a look at what all the fabulous ladies had stitched on my LHN/CCN Stitching Needlework RR. It all began last year but the journey only took off in January 2011, it had travelled inland to 4 cities over 3 states and even took a flight to United States and returned home. Yes! its home !!!
Another finished piece is Dream. First in the series of LHN's Once Upon A Time , I put in the last stitch on Dream last Sunday evening. The second is currently in progress alternating with the last round of RR stitching that belongs to Joanne.
During the week long holidays, Diane and me managed to make a trip to the much and long awaited annual Popular Book fair or rather Bookfest Malaysia 2011 at KLCC (August 27 - September 4) Diane has been so looking forward to this fair like since the beginning of the year or rather since the end of last year's bookfair. Sharing here are some photos of the Bookfair.
The crowd, the books and an open space for people; adults or kids to rest their tired feet or the parents while waiting for their kids or just to stop to browse and or to reconsider all the carted books before heading to the cashier.

Stitched two over two on 32 ct Linen
Fabric Lakeside Linen Pearly Barley
Thread : All DMCs - All Thread conversions are my choice of DMC colors
Much, much thanks to all the wonderful ladies, Diane M in South Carolina, USA, Joanne N in Pahang, June T in PJ and especially to Margaret W in KL who had made this possible. I have the borders to stitch and maybe will add some wordings that reflects the journey this RR has taken before sending it to the framers, hopefully I get this done before year ends. The piece makes me want to go back to cross stitching but since my eyes are not so good as before, I may have to make a pass.
